Judicial activities of ADR in Rajshahi District

There are many courts in Rajshahi but all are not same as to their nature, scope and activities. They are distinguished particularly on the basis of their nature of activities and territorial jurisdiction. It is to be noted that, special courts are made for the purpose of disposal of suits which are special in nature and bear a special significance.  And by this way, some courts are empowered to adopt the mechanism of Alternative Dispute Resolution. The Courts namely District Judge, Joint District Judge, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Senior Judicial Magistrate and Assistant Judges Court have disposed the following suits through ADR mechanism in the following year: (2006-2010)[1]
